Keronite technology was transferred from Russia to the UK in 1998 when a new company was set up in the Isle of Man and the intellectual property relating to Plasma Electrolytic Oxidation (PEO) technology assigned to it. A local technology incubator company, now Flintstone Technology plc, funded the further development of the process, ensuring that it could be scaled up successfully and become cost effective on a commercial basis.
Keronite Group Ltd (formerly Keronite Ltd) was incorporated in March 2000 as a limited company in England and Wales (company number 5564452). Following a successful fundraising, the company established its international headquarters at Granta Park, Cambridge, UK from where it still operates today. |
